Stretch your body, mind, and soul with MOSAIC.
In Sankrit, yoga means “union” and it is the unification of mind and body, heart and movement that MOSAIC hopes to inspire in everyone. Through the practice of Yoga, we can begin to connect with inner spirit, clarity, and calm. We invite you to embark on a journey within – an exploration of your truest and highest self.
Come share your spirit with MOSAIC, a sacred space where you are free to be you.
Whether you are a beginner to Yoga or are seeking to deepen your practice, MOSAIC offers an array of classes for students of all levels and styles.
Basic Vinyasa Yoga
Basic Vinyasa Yoga is slow-paced class designed especially for beginner students. Vinyasa means flow and the
purpose of this class is for practitioners to integrate outward movement and inner awakening. By combining
yoga asanas or poses with breath and meditation, one can begin to foster flexibility, relaxation, and selfawareness.
This class is a beautiful method to learn the art of Vinyasa Yoga and how to rejuvenate and
reinvigorate one’s body.
Hot Power Vinyasa Yoga (All Levels)
Hot Power Vinyasa Yoga is specifically designed for practitioners who benefit from moving from pose-to-pose at a fluid pace, while utilizing the principles of alignment, awareness, and breath in a heated environment. Classes are designed for ALL LEVELS; however we recommend new practitioners begin with the Basic Vinyasa Yoga class to familiarize themselves with yoga postures and sequences. The room is warmed, but not to extreme heat.
Yin Yoga
The essence of Yin Yoga is surrender. To balance the heat-building, blood-pumping, strengthening "yang" side of a Vinyasa Flow or Ashtanga practice, Yin focuses on postures that lengthen the muscles surrounding the hips, pelvis, and lower back. Students typically hold these postures for 3-5 minutes per side in order to lengthen the connective tissue that surrounds the joints to increase joint elasticity. The elasticity of our connective tissue diminishes with physical activity and aging, which makes Yin essential for injury prevention and joint health. Since a Yin Yoga practice often includes several long, seated forward bending postures, it also restores energy, calms the nervous system and further develops your meditative practice. Pure bliss! **Prenatal appropriate**
Yin Yoga & Reiki Healing
Yin Yoga & Reiki Healing offers a healing touch, given by trained Reiki practitioners, to deepen the restful,
relaxing poses offered in our traditional Yin Yoga class. Reiki is the practice of giving subtle, balancing energy
to the body in all its expressions, physical, emotional, and spiritual, encouraging it towards balance and
wellbeing.
Forrest Yoga
Forrest yoga creates the environment for you to explore self discovery. The sequence of poses takes you deep into the cell tissue, allowing you to experience a noticeable release of what you have been holding on to for several years. This is an all levels practice and modifications are given for each pose. Forrest yoga isn't a vinyasa flow class. It is a unique experience encompassing pranayama, inversions, salutations with standing poses, arm balances and a much deserved savasana.
Mommy & Me
Taking care of yourself is essential now that you are nurturing a new soul. Stretch, breathe and relax with your baby in this gentle, community-building class, where you can connect with other new Moms as you share the journey into parenthood. Practicing yoga helps improve posture, flexibility and emotional well-being, helping to ward off postpartum blues. This class is appropriate for the beginner as well as for someone who has been practicing yoga for years.
Kripa Yoga
Kripa, in Sanskrit, means compassion and grace. This is an intense style of yoga, both physically and spiritually. The central aim is to become free by shaping consciousness and unlocking potential. The room is heated. Make sure to bring water and a towel.
Note: New practitioners may find this class physically and spiritually uncomfortable. All skill levels welcomed.
